Getting Started
  1. 1

    Run the Installer

Run BrkrOps_TruvaldSetup-1.0.33.exe on any Windows 10 / Server 2016+ machine with domain access. The installer handles .NET 8 runtime if not already present. Admin rights required for install only.

  2. 2

    Add Your CA Servers

In the Operations tab, add your CA servers by hostname. Truvald will discover the CA configuration automatically. A domain account with read access to the CA is sufficient for health monitoring.

  3. 3

    Run Your First Scan

Click "Scan All" to collect the initial health snapshot. The first scan takes 1–3 minutes depending on environment size. Results persist locally in a SQLite database — no external infrastructure needed.

  4. 4

    Explore — No License Required

The free trial gives you full access in read-only mode. Monitoring, security assessment, and documentation all work. When you're ready to enable write operations, get a license key.
